I started my career first as a graphic designer at an advertising agency. After getting thrown into the photography world for my day job, I started my own business doing portrait sessions – and eventually my first wedding! Fast forward 5 years and over 180 weddings later – I can confidently say God put me on this earth to serve others with my photography.

I specialize in weddings, couples, lifestyle sessions, and brand photography for business owners. I'm based in the Midwest, but my passion for capturing love knows no bounds – I'm available to travel for any occasion!

The guy you see here is my absolute best friend, biggest supporter, and the love of my life. John and I met at the gym through mutual friends and as they say – the rest is history. We got married on Dec 9, 2022 in the heart of St. Louis at The Piper Palm House, the oldest greenhouse west of the Mississippi River with the people who we cherish the most and it was the best day of our lives!

We made our day our own, wrote our own vows, by-passed some wedding traditions (we didn't have a wedding party!) and kept some wedding staples like no first look. I'll never forget walking down the isle with my Dad and seeing John choke up at the end of the isle.

After going through our own season of engagement, wedding planning, and now married life, I love connecting with my couples on another level and being able to offer support and advice that I so appreciated while I was in the thick of it.

Being a wedding photographer is all about SHOWING UP for your clients in big ways that don’t always involve a camera – fixing boutonnières, fluffing dresses, playing meteorologist in the event of rain, de-stressing aunt Karen whose freaking out about table signage (lol), or dabbing away tears to save that gorgeous face of makeup.

Honestly, over the years I've learned to approach the day as a balancing act between being proactive and stepping back. It's knowing when to step in and initiate moments to their full potential such as directing poses that make you look hella good, but also stepping back for the quiet and introspective moments when sweet granny kisses you on the cheek.

It's letting the natural, candid moments flow, and when it's time for portraits, you have an expert to direct you, guide you, and help you walk with confidence.
